Perfect For Summer: Rock Center Cafe, Rockefeller Center

As Paul Simon once said "Why deny the obvious child?" - or was it "Why deny the obvious,child?"  Either way,  fantasticsong- and it is all too simple to overlook  the Rock Cafe, dismissing it out of hand for being too much of a tourist draw or too commercial to be the best choice.  Sitting beside the center's famous fountain, under one of the many umbrellaed tables that fill what is usually the ice rink, we were at once in the thick of of of the city's most famous landmarks while being transported by the rushing water and surprisingly untouristy atmosphere.
